From writer/director Desiree Akhavan and based on the celebrated novel by Emily M. Danforth, The Miseducation of Cameron Post follows Cameron (Chloë Grace Moretz) as she is sent to a gay conversion center after being caught with another girl. Run by the strict and severe Dr. Lydia March (Jennifer Ehle) and her brother Reverend Rick (John Gallagher, Jr.) - himself an example of how those in the program can be "cured." At the facilities Cam,eron is subjected to outlandish discipline, dubious "de-gaying" methods, and earnest Christian rock songs - but in this unusal setting, Cameron connects with peers and she's able to find her place amopng fellow outcasts; the amputee stoner Jane (Sasha Lane0< and her friend, the Lakota Two Sprirt, Adam (Forrest Goodluck). Together, this group of teenagers form an unliekly family as they fight to survive.
