After reading Shrike by this author I went to find others by him, and found Stone. It was just as good as Shrike with the gruesome bits underlying a thick storyline full of twists and turns. You need a pretty vivid imagination on this one though as the descriptive quality of this book is in a rate of its own. Full of dark demons and scary bits. Great Book but pretty Poor ending.
