"Another release from the prolific Mark Beazley is a soundtrack in remembrance of the events of September 11th 2001. Fittingly no words are necessary on this release, save for the fragments of radio interference provided by visual artist and sonic experimentalist J. S. Adams AKA BLK w/BEAR (art has always been an integral influence on Beazley's work with the band name inspired by Mark Rothko, a Russian-American painter). This sound is combined with Beazley's Harold Budd-inspired piano compositions to create an effect that is both moving and difficult, the latter is especially true on 'I Feel Lost Without You' which is made up almost entirely of interference. On a more empathetic level, 'Declarations Of Loss' is understated and mournful; Beazley's bass providing the lonely, defiant voice in a cold war-stricken world. Yet the mood isn't entirely sombre; 'Dream For An End To Sorrow' represents an appropriately hopeful tribute. Suffice to say, those looking for escapism would be advised to avoid this album but as a touching memorial to those who lost their lives it fulfils its role with dignity to spare." - Leonards Lair
