Went to see 'We Will Rock You', got 'Live Killers' the next day and didn't listen to much else for about a year or two. The energy, humour and their anthems make this one of the finest live albums ever recorded and once you're in there, you're on another planet. The balance of showmanship, pomp and full throttle heavy rock is perfect, and if you have heard Queen's early 70's live recordings then you know their roots. Mercury's vocal performance and showmanship is phenomenal, May's wall of sound fills whatever venue they were playing and Taylor's drumming, particularly his solo on 'Now I'm Here', marks him as the epitome of rock'n roll drumming. Sorry John, you got the initials. Maybe they should have called it a day then, following this they never got close to the class of those days again. Such a Must-Buy it redefines the term.
